If current trends persist, management warned that total DAU growth could decline by low double digit percentage points in Q4, which implies a decline in the total DAU base to ~117mn (and potentially lower) compared to the current base of ~130mn. RDDT is trying to offset these headwinds with more paid user marketing or other on-platform improvements, but a 10mn-15mn sequential user decline (with the US potentially more severe than international) calls into question the platform's long-term positioning and user opportunity…and will likely put a lower ceiling on the multiple investors will pay.”
