that'd be neat! hard to pull off given how steam requires $100 for a game to be posted on the store as well as variance in genres, but if there were a way to find the sales data across a wide variety of games it might be worth some analysis

it's definitely an extra barrier, and it'll be interesting to see how it plays out in the long run- on our end, we removed the steam demo but kept our itch demo live as a compromise. it's decision making from a dev POV vs. a player POV, which is tough to reconcile

(opinion) it may be easier since lowiro has a proven track record handling other games prior, and word of mouth can still be a powerful thing! we're seeing a lot more non-traditional RGs as of late, so i think in falsus has a good chance despite the demo removal
