This Ringed Plover pair are suddenly very busy - four tiny little chicks just hatched yesterday! Now scampering about all over. This is their second attempt, fingers crossed for them 🤞

This area used to be regularly mowed at Causeway hospital @NHSCTrust A decision was taken to just mow a path & leave the rest to grow, & what a great decision that was. No planting/sowing required, just halt the mowing to see what treasures will grow! #wildflowerhour

Another highlight on Rathlin this weekend has been the amazing frenzy of Kittiwake nest-building. Always one of our favourite parts of the seabird season - it's just so mesmerising to watch them all swarming around the cliffs #SuperSeabirdSunday
