Hey everyone, I’m excited to announce I’m gonna start a YouTube channel called Believe in the Orange and Blue. It will be an extension of this page that allows me to discuss my thoughts on the Mets.

My first episode on YouTube will be next Monday at 7 PM. I wanted to wait until after the World Series was over and the hot stove gets heated up. #NYM #MersTwitter

Let’s just face the facts. Peralta can pitch in the small markets of Milwaukee and Tampa Bay and he couldn’t handle pitching in New York.

When asked what went wrong in New York, Freddy Peralta says he sometimes asks himself the same question: "I was feeling really good physically. I was trying to give the best of myself as always and I prepared how I should be preparing. I don't know, things weren't going my way"

No, they are not. I’m just saying playing in New York is different than playing anywhere else and for some guys they can’t handle it.

I just heard Joe Davis say on the broadcast that they need a system for check swings. They experimented with a system to see whether the batter swung or held up in the Pacific coast league this past season.

It is actually part of the ABS system that checks balls and strikes, and the technology is already in place. It’s gonna be just a matter of time until it’s implemented in throughout baseball.

The Milwaukee Brewers are halfway to winning their first World Series championship they defeat the Tampa Bay Rays 5-4 and take a 2-0 lead in the World Series.

Sal Frelick hits a solo home run as. the Milwaukee Brewers, who were down 4-0 in the first inning against the ace of the Rays pitching staff have now tied the game at 4-4.

Good morning #MetsTwitter! Glad to see the Brewers win game one of what should be a very exciting World Series, judging by the atmosphere last night. #LGM

Good morning #MetsTwitter! First game of the World Series tonight. I personally would like to see the Brewers win, but I’m OK with either Team since it will be their first title. #LGM

I love the fact that Torrens and Alvarez are playing together in winter ball and Torrens should work with Alvarez on his defense. I think Torrens could significantly improve Alvarez’s defense and throwing.

Putting Alvy at 1B might not sit well with a lot of people, but if the Mets upgrade at other spots, it’s not the worst-case scenario. I’m fine with Jared Young holding down first base as long as the Mets upgrade the DH. In that setup, Alvy can get some reps at 1B against lefties while still rotating with Torrens behind the plate. #LGM

Congratulations to the American League Champions Tampa Bay Rays. Congratulations also to the ALCS. MVP. Freddy Peralta. This should be a fun World Series two small market teams, two small payroll teams, two small ball teams. We’re going to see baseball the way it should be played

Whoever is producing this baseball game sucks. Why do you show eight different angles of a seeing eye base hit. I would much rather see Fred coming off the mound to huge standing ovation, which he definitely deserves from the Rays crowd.

I I would not mind Kevin Long returning to the Mets.
Mike Puma@NYPost_MetsOct 19
Kevin Long is scheduled to speak with the Mets tomorrow about a coaching staff position, per source. Long was fired as Phillies hitting coach last week. He was Mets hitting coach the last time the team reached the World Series. He is close with Juan Soto from Nats days.
