There’s been some progress as preparations for offering automatic intensive courses from 1st August continue.
The automatic car has had its vehicle livery applied by @Fastsigns854.
And it looks pretty smart too if I say so myself. 😍
It was great to be able to sponsor Danilo Orsi this season. 👏🏻

Allie passed her practical #drivingtest at #BurgessHillDTC on Wednesday morning (02/08/23). It was a fantastic #FirstTimePass with only two driver faults. Allie completed a 16 hour intensive course spread out over four days leading up to her test. – at Burgess Hill, England
To remain on the ADI Register Driving Instructors have to periodically undergo a Standards Check. This sees a DVSA Examiner sit in on a lesson so they can assess the instructor's ability to teach their pupils.

The Standards Check only lasts 45 minutes, so is just a snapshot of a normal driving lesson.
Today was my turn. Thanks to pupil Allie we had a great lesson and I'm pleased to say I passed my Standards Check. It was a great feeling to hear the news from the examiner.

Driving school cars come complete with invisibility cloaks. It’s good to know my car’s one is in full working order.

The DVSA are holding a consultation into proposals to assist with reducing waiting times for practical driving tests. Details can be found using the link in the DVSA post quoted here.
The consultation ends at 11:59pm on 8th March.

We have a new consultation and want to hear from you❗
Have your say on proposals that will encourage learners to be better prepared for their car driving test. We believe the measures will reduce test waiting times and allow us to provide more tests 🚗
