Last week, CIC Group led by Group Chairman Dr. Nelson Kuria, Group MD & CEO Mr. Patrick Nyaga, and CIC Microinsurance Principal Officer Mr. Michael Mugo hosted a delegation from CARD MBA (Center for Agriculture and Rural Development Mutual Benefit Association), a global leader in microinsurance from the Philippines.
This visit builds on our 2023 MoU with CARD MRI (Center for Agriculture and Rural Development Mutual Reinforcing Institutions), focusing on:
✅ Capacity building for CIC Microinsurance Academy
✅ Establishing a functional structure of the microinsurance company
✅ Developing tailored products suited for the microinsurance industry in Kenya
✅ Facilitating exchange programs for knowledge-sharing.
The CARD MRI team gained insights into CIC Group’s strategic direction, product offerings, and the Kenyan microinsurance landscape. This partnership strengthens our shared vision of enhancing financial inclusion through microinsurance.
