Everyone at Ipswich Town was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Kaylem Scopes. Kaylem spent time as a young Blue from U9s to U14s and is fondly remembered by our Academy staff. Our thoughts and condolences are with Kaylem’s family and friends. 💙

We found a clear link between deprivation and women's use of emergency care in the year after giving birth. In the most deprived areas of England, 27% of deliveries were followed by an emergency hospital contact, compared with 17% in the least deprived. buff.ly/v1RkPIL

Let me say this very directly. Football does not belong to investors. It belongs to the people who fill the stands and who stand on the touchline week in, week out, rain or shine. The World Cup is not a product. It is the greatest competition in world sport, and it was never anyone's to sell. Dress the deal up however you like. Once you have sold a piece of it, you have sold out. Football belongs to the fans. It always has, and it always will.

Final thought on The Final. An hour after the final whistle, I passed this lady, and just asked if she was ok as Croke Park began to empty. She was ok, she was in happy shock, and was thinking of all those who’d not made it through the years to witness Mayo winning. My word #mayo
