Poor - and biased - response from Andy Burnham on Manchester City being found guilty of all charges related to serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules by an Independent Commission. He says “I can’t intervene *more* in the process,” which requires an explanation in itself. Then offers commentary on previous proceedings he felt was unfair, AND states he wouldn’t want to lose the club’s owners who have “been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester. Obviously, the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is.” How was that force built? And on the investment into the city itself, per a 2022 Guardian report: “Nine sites were sold to Sheikh Mansour at a fraction of their value, and well below what other plots nearby fetched. They were on leases lasting 999 years, well beyond the norm. And the fund shifted what had been public assets to companies registered in Jersey. “That walk along the water from New Islington into Ancoats now passes blocks of privatised land owned in an offshore tax haven, which yields millions upon millions for a key member of the wealthy elite running a surveillance state halfway across the globe. One of the greatest cities in the world has sold itself to a senior figure in a brutal autocracy – and not even for a good price.”

🚨 There is only one suitable punishment for Manchester City. Everton were deducted 6 points for ONE financial breach. So 114 breaches across 9 seasons × 6 points = 684 POINTS So they should get: ❌ 76-point deduction EVERY SEASON ❌ For the next 9 seasons If that sends them down through the divisions and into non-league football… …so be it.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City found guilty on virtually all charges relating to breaches of Premier League financial regulations. #MCFC expected to appeal against verdict issued by independent commission. Sanctions undecided, process ongoing @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7049721…

🚨🔴 Liverpool have made contact with Ibrahima Mbaye’s new agent Jorge Mendes. Mbaye also has proposals from Bundesliga clubs — giving priority to #LFC project. Deal was close with Leipzig but collapsed after Diomande-PSG off. Talks will follow, as @FabriceHawkins reported.

One person on LFC's Preseason I have been really impressed with in the clips is Ifeanyi Ndukwe, he is only 18 a massive 6ft6 Centre Back. He looks ready for me. Is it so wild to suggest the can be an option for LFC this season. He is the same age we signed Leoni. @RobGutmann

What we can see in the video is he pretty much has the number on Rio and Curtis in the session. We know isn't a super easy thing to do. Surprised nobody else is talking about this lad for preseason watch. He could save us £30mil+ @Knox_Harrington @TheAnfieldWrap Hope he starts

Replying to @Concore
@Concore @LEGO_Group I think the Pokemon collecting community would appreciate some communication on the plan for non play sets of the original 151 Pokemon. For example knowing of Lapras will get a larger set in addition to the upcoming play set will be consumer friendly.

It doesn't have to be super detailed communication, but someone along the lines of Ideally lego will produce X standalone sets, or a standalone set of each 151 Pokemon. The tag line is Gotta Catch Em All, but currently we don't know the rules.

Apologies for my awful grammar I am dyslexic, but hopefully you get my jist!
14
I know this isn't Lego Policy but I truly believe some transparency in this particular case is super important and will help net sales. I am far likely to buy every standalone Pokemon (even if I don't like that Pokemon) if I know the plan is to do them all (or at least many!)

There is set trends with this in Lego Star Wars e.g. we KNOW there will be UCS Falcon, and a play set falcon (more from learned knowledge than Pokemon) but let's be honest there are more Pokemon than there are Star Wars vehicles. And not knowing the plan is bad for consumers atm

Ok I understand if Aston Villa finish 5th (not 4th) a 6th CL Place will go to Bournemouth or Brighton. But if they finish 4th who in Europe does the final CL spot go to? Basically someone else in Europe is rooting for Villa to finish 4th and not 5th in the prem who is it?

Who is ready for 5 mins of Liverpool playing well then becoming a sad puppy for the rest of the game and it ending 4nil? You might expect Slot to stop an embarrassment if it goes 3nil, but he can't as we have this on Wednesday. Shutting up shop not an option #EmiratesFACup #LFC
