I grew up in Tucson. Four directions out of town, every one a tank of gas away, and when I was younger, I remember my mom narrating the whole way.
Did you know… (some fact, snip, bit about whatever we were passing)...
Then I moved 1,700 miles and got a 40-mile commute full of bridges, a river, and towns that used to be other towns - and no way to catch any of it at 65.
So I built the framework for stories to generate themselves as I pass through them.
Today the crew is three raccoon siblings. They argue in the passenger seat about the places you actually pass.
This month their map learned to draw. Roads only appear once you’ve driven them.

Ive had wins this week to share, gratitude for progress and more - including the labs newest publication in oeis.org
In the explore the ceiling of frontier models category, claude and IBM quantum computing make an amazing pair. What surprised me was finding a slight twist in results which is due to the hardware the fez chip uses while teleporting information. Beyond cool.
In the ai toy box and product category, ive been exploring voice modeling with local hardware with great success. While im not planning my move from eleven labs, its helping me understand how these models work in production and how I can tune them. You'll feel this with consistent voices in thelongway.ai
