If there was one question about @nilesvikingfb entering the season, it was how @BennettTalen would do at quarterback.
The senior has had nothing but answers, and his leadership is a big reason @scot_shawNHSfb’s squad is playing for a state title Friday.

This trip to state for @nilesvikingfb started almost a decade ago with kids like @SamRucker14, @BennettTalen and @PaulHessIII who loved to play football. But to a man they said it would not have happened without @scot_shawNHSfb coming into their lives.

Niles QB Talen Bennett has been the maestro behind the Vikings' prolific flex-bone offense all season long.
The senior threw a TD pass and guided the Vikings to 8 scoring drives and 434 yards of offense in Saturday's win over South Christian.

🎙CALL OF THE GAME 🗣
In a game filled with highlights for @NilesAthletics, on 4th and goal from the 9 late in the 1st half @BennettTalen would find @brendenolsen22 for six!
This would be the only completion the team needed in the game, as they ran over South Chr 62-30.

If you were expecting @nilesvikingfb to have a letdown after winning the Wolverine Conference in 2023, think again!
Riley Cowan, @BennettTalen, @SamRucker14 and @scot_shawNHSfb believe the Vikings may be even better now.
