Last week we wore #STS hoodies. My brother Ryan, a pastor in Austin, TX, came & spoke to our team during homecoming. He spoke on Galatians 6 & how in order to get to the point of reaping the harvest, you have to first sow the seed. It’s not something that just happens without preparation. Every day you have to show up & sow the seed. That’s how we have lived life this season, never worried about the future only worried about today. But I’m thankful for him who put words to it a few weeks ago. We sowed the seed again tonight. Every snap. Every rep. Sowed the seed. AGAINST ALLLLLLL ADVERSITY. The Eagles are 8-0 for the first time ever. I pray every day that this team’s success glorifies Jesus & makes Him known. #STS

Train what the sport neglects.
The sport develops sport-specific skills. Training should develop the athletic qualities the sport leaves behind.
✅ Max velocity
✅ Extreme strength
✅ Jumping (both high and far)

The @BaptistPrep_FB Eagles are 7-0 for the first time in program history after dominating Bearden, 63-12.
Eagle QB Titus Benson accounted for 7 touchdowns and got some help from a few spectacular snags from his receivers.

We’ve been sold on the idea that toughness is created through fatigue and torture—and that toughness is the key to winning.
There’s a better way.
Win through executing fundamentals.
Win through team-first focus. #Ubuntu
Win through improved athleticism.
Win by making the sport the best part of a kid’s day.
Don’t train kids to survive the sport. Train them to thrive in it.
