It was actually our 250th anniversary.
Not that you would know — you spent it with the British.
Paxton: On July 4th, we celebrated the 200th anniversary of our country.

July 4 2026 marked the 250th anniversary of US independence not the 200th as claimed in the video. Multiple reports placed Paxton in London England that weekend with videos of the trip.

Trump & Republicans would rather make you ration your meds & skip a doctor’s appointment than make a billionaire pay their fair share.
In the richest country in the world, healthcare shouldn't be a privilege for the rich, it should be a right for all.
We need Medicare for All.
To combat rising health care costs, people have said they are forgoing health insurance coverage, rationing their medications, cutting back on doctor visits and putting off health procedures. wapo.st/4yz0pwN

I really think everyone needs to pay attention to this cordinated campaign to delegimatize Muslim Americans - not just as citizens but as humans.
These increasingly hysterical attacks are a prelude to Republicans bringing us to a very, very dark place after the election.

This week, Russia has hit nine “Epicentr” stores across Ukraine. These are Ukraine’s version of “Home Depot,” where people buy household appliances - including generators to power their homes through the winter as Russian strikes knock out electricity across the country. Seventy years ago today, on Bloody Thursday, Soviet troops and the secret police opened fire on unarmed Hungarians peacefully demonstrating in front of Parliament.

It should never be forgotten that Ken Paxton was a leader in the coup to nullify the election of Joe Biden. He filed a lawsuit in the Supreme Court to challenge the 2020 election results in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin even though he was the AG for Texas. His suit was quickly tossed by the Court. On January 7th Paxton claimed the insurrection of the previous day was the work of antifa. This lie was quickly disproven.
On the 7th 46 state attorneys general disavowed the violence of the 6th in a letter to the Acting Attorney General of the U.S. A few days later three more AGs sent their own letter in condemning the violent insurrection. Only Ken Paxton failed to sign either letter.

Why in the hell are the American taxpayers footing the bill for an attorney to represent Jared Kushner, @ChuckGrassley?
Kushner is NOT a government employee. He has NO Security Clearance and has NEVER been confirmed by the Senate.
This is theft of taxpayer funds.
Before publication, we sent Simon & Schuster a detailed 13-page letter responding to and categorically denying the extraordinary allegations made against my client, Jared Kushner, and challenging the total absence of supporting evidence.
Vanity Fair has now published an excerpt amplifying these false and defamatory allegations. We have seen no credible evidence substantiating any of these claims, and we question what independent verification Vanity Fair conducted before publishing them.
We intend to pursue legal action against those responsible and hold them accountable.

BRENNAN: The DOJ lawsuit demands the Alaska result not be certified if voters are confused. The confusion is defined as Sen. Sullivan not winning.
BLANCHE: That's not what it says
BRENNAN: I'm quoting from it. You are telling them not to certify it. What right does the federal government have telling a state not to certify?

"I want to be a senator for every Texan who can't afford one."
Hell of a line from @jamestalarico in the rally clip below, commenting on the mind-blowing sum of special interest money being spent on behalf of Ken Paxton, led Elon's more than $150 million.
Talarico: This election is a battle between the powers that be and the powers that ought to be. The powers that be have chosen their candidate. They have bought and paid for Ken Paxton.
But we are standing with the powers that ought to be the teachers and the nurses, the farmers and the ranchers. The grandmother who is facing eviction, the little boy who's waking up in the middle of the night from the lights of the data center, the small business owner, who is struggling to keep his family restaurant open. Those Texans are my team.
They are why I'm in this race. I want to be a senator for every Texan who can't afford one. You want to know why they are spending $200 million against me? Because I don't take their money, and I never will. I don't work for them. I work for you
