Tyrese Proctor has seen some increased minutes over the last two games (18 and 20) and has rewarded Kenny's trial run thus far.
+8 total, 4-for-7 from 3, 7 assists to 0 turnovers and a -3.9 defensive rating.
If Proctor is looking to make a spot, that's one way to do it.

Watson is 3rd on the Cavs in drives per game at 8.
He's shooting 55.6% (4th), is assisting 18.8% of those opportunities (4th) and getting fouled 14.6% (1st) of the time
Until he finds his shot, they need to continue to find ways to get him moving forward with the ball.

People want to focus on his scoring, and his development there is important, but games like this highlight that his best assets really may be his defense... and his play facilitation.
Which is why the bigs involvement is important to diversify how and where they create offense.

Update: Quite possibly.
Part of early season tinkering is finding lineups and combinations you can build upon and this may be one.

Jared Verse: "I don’t got no respect for anybody that plays too dirty, and that does too much extra shit after the game. ... I can’t wait to get my hands on them again."
Cam Heyward: "The AFC North is on fire and I’m glad I’m in the kitchen because I like it that way. But those are words that were said and they will be addressed."

The Cavs have won 73% of the games in which Jarrett Allen has scored 20 or more points.
The process needs to look like that every night, start with the bigs then go to the guards. You can get all the three points you want Kenny if the bigs are active constantly throughout the game

Kenny on Meleek:
"For a young man of 20 years old, he's extremely mature. He's really got his life together -- that's important. That's where you see the consistency, the stability, very mentally tough and resilient kid."

Meleek Thomas on learning from his vets:
“Interested in knowing how to be better offensively and defensively. A lot of the shots I take are good to me but not great for the team. Just me honing it down. Defensively, I need to know where to be early. Limit all mistakes.”

"At the end of the day, my entire NBA career is in Kenny's hands, in the coaching staff hands, and in my teammates hands. They have been super, super respectful, super comfortable with me, and they make me look how I look on the court. So all my sincere thanks from the heart goes to them."
