The Democratic Party has let us all down. Now, we have to fight back together as a working class. DSA is here to fight Donald Trump in every state and every city. We will not stop until we beat the right and win socialism. dsausa.org/join

Climate disasters are unique in the way that they lay bare every element of capitalist violence. As we watch the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we're reminded that no disaster is truly "natural." dsausa.org/statements/dsa-st…

Major disasters like Hurricane Helene reveal the ugliest face of capitalism, but they also show us the beauty of community. Help us rebuild Western North Carolina by donating today! @AshevilleDSA donorbox.org/western-nc-mutu…

We deserve more than a political party that refuses to give voice to Palestinians. We deserve more than a party that claims to support a ceasefire but continues to supply Israel with weapons. We deserve more than the Democrats as the only alternative to the Far-Right.
The DNC allowed the family of an Israeli hostage to speak and then officially denied the @uncommittedmvmt’s modest ask to also have a Palestinian voice on the convention stage. Uncommitted leader Abbas Alawieh says he’s tried everything he can—and begun a sit-in joined by others.

Democrats are unwilling to confront the genocide that they're aiding and abetting, not even through a simple speech. We stand in solidarity with @uncommittedmvmt and the DSA members who are participating in this action. Enough is enough. #NotAnotherBomb
Uncommitted delegates starting a sit-in out in front of the DNC after being refused a speaker on the main floor. “As soon as I get a call saying they will support a Palestinian American speaker from stage I will go home,” says Abbas Alawieh, uncommitted delegate from Michigan.

In a postage stamp of a town at the southernmost tip of Appalachia, a minister/self-described anarcho-communist operates Alabama’s only (for now) Narcan vending machine. And that is also what Alabama is like.

Rashida Tlaib is a rare model of principled politics at a time when most politicians are quick to bow to an establishment that excuses atrocities. We are proud to be represented by her in Congress as democratic socialists.
Netanyahu is a war criminal committing genocide against the Palestinian people. It is utterly disgraceful that leaders from both parties have invited him to address Congress. He should be arrested and sent to the International Criminal Court.

The 2024 Republican National Convention marks the consolidation of the American Right around Donald Trump and his fascist agenda. By contrast, the Democratic Party is bitterly divided over whether Biden should withdraw. Read the latest statement from the National Political Committee: dsausa.org/statements/all-po…

“I am not of those who worship the flag. I have no respect for the stars and stripes, or for any other flag that symbolizes slavery… Triumphant socialism will haul down that flag and every other that symbolizes capitalist class rule and wage slavery.” — Eugene Debs, July 4, 1901

Can anti-racist activism feed into unionization & multiracial working-class organization? Or is anti-racism necessarily an elitist project of corporate America & "the professional managerial class"? My large-scale survey of worker leaders sheds light on this debate🧵
