Our lab, in collaboration with partners from @genentech, @sanofi, @gsk, @pfizer, @sangerinstitute, and @emblebi, has been awarded £2M by @OpenTargets to generate novel perturbation data across multiple disease models and develop large generative models to facilitate the discovery of drug targets. As part of the first wave of hires, I am looking for candidates for two machine learning-focused positions at different levels (Predoc, Postdoc) and one computational biologist. Interpretable predictive models of genome-wide aryl hydrocarbon receptor-DNA binding reveal tissue-specific binding determinants academic.oup.com/toxsci/arti…
David developed interpretable XGBoost models to predict DNA binding by the Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor, an inducible transcription factor, across multiple cell types. He integrated DNA sequence features, TF binding and histone modification ChIP-seq, and DNase-seq data from ENCODE.
