BEZOS: When you're in the polling booth and you're thinking about who you're going to vote for, think about this. If there's a politician that is picking villains and pointing fingers, that's probably means they don't have a solution
If there's an executive at one of my companies, instead of working on a root cause and a real fix, all they did is point fingers and blame people, we would exit them quickly.
And now you all see. Moral high grounds are awfully expensive.

And so, the World Cup’s stay in Kansas City has come to an end. And it ended the same way it began 25 days ago, with an Argentinian celebration.
The greatest sporting event in the world outside of the Olympics came to our city and we did more than just hold our own, we dominated. We didn’t just host the party — provide the venue, the refreshments, the music — we did a stage dive right into the middle of it. And our guests took note. Teams, fans, media, everyone was over the moon about Paris of the Plains.
This was a transformational moment in the history of this place we call home. So many people fall in love over one summer with someone they never met before. I feel like we’re going to look back at this as the summer when the world fell in love with Kansas City.

Absolutely not, it takes more than athletic ability to dominate, you take our best athletes & put them in the favelas or European infrastructure from 4 years old we would be able to compete & look like we belong, dominate is a bit far fetched.
Replying to @ochocinco
@ochocinco I have a legit question for you. You’re the perfect person to ask because you played both footballs. Would America dominate soccer if the athletes we had playing American football played soccer

The USA is no where near elite at soccer. We could be.
Our best athletes are playing NFL, NBA, MLB, and Track.
So either we have to invest in soccer or be ok with these results.

Come and visit London’s Home of Trophies. 🏆
Book your Stadium Tour at Stamford Bridge now. ⭐️⭐️
This is so sadly true. It's baffling to me that VC guys would see an investment under performing expectations, with no clear vision or direction, taking massive public relations and reputation blows...and just keep on keeping on. My club is a shell. It truly saddens me.
Chelsea have still got to go to Anfield…
They’ve got to play a Spurs side fighting for their life, 3 days after the FA Cup final…
And travel to the Stadium of Light against a Sunderland side still with (an outside) chance of Europe.
3 points ahead of 13th, they could very easily finish outside the Top 10 for the 2nd time in 4 seasons under Clearlake.
Whether you agreed with the methods that led to their success or not, Chelsea used to be a serious institution…
Now? A laughing stock.

Ashley St. Clair confirmed the WH runs group chats telling these accounts what to post. Within minutes of shots fired tonight, before there was any news of casualties and before the President said this exact talking point, this was the chat in real time.
This is what a cult looks like. You justify everything because you have drank all forms of Kool Aid.
I had received some questions about President @realDonaldTrump's recent posts, and here are my thoughts:
I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ—that would certainly be inappropriate. I’m thankful the President has made it very clear that this was not at all what he thought the AI-generated image was representing—he thought it was a doctor helping someone, and when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post.
When I looked at the illustration, I didn’t jump to the same conclusion as some. There were no spiritual references—no halo, there were no crosses, no angels. It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and I think this is a lot to do about nothing. There is so much ill-intended speculation. I think his enemies are always foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad.
And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social yesterday, I must say that I like the fact that this is a picture of Jesus whispering in his ear, or at least His hand on his shoulder, guiding him. We all need that—we all need to be listening to Jesus. Again, I think there is an attempt to spin this into something that it isn’t. Remember, President Trump didn’t draw this, he didn’t create it, he reposted it on his social media because he thought it was nice—I would have to agree.
I’m not a Catholic, I’m an evangelical, but I appreciate how President Trump has defended religious freedom for people of all faiths, including millions of evangelicals and Catholics in the U.S. and around the world. He is the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime, and he doesn’t shy away from it. I would hope that the President and Pope Leo can meet at some point, and that the Pope would have the opportunity to thank the President for his efforts to protect religious liberty for Catholics and people of all faiths.
This man is climbing up the charts of all time movie villains. "Fearmonger". This particular post is at the "apex" of how desperate these people are to get you to believe we are under attack from our very own citizens because they disagree with political ideology. Don't believe.
This is absolutely insane.
Gaza:
▪️A peer-reviewed study in The Lancet Global Health estimated 75,200 violent deaths between October 7, 2023, and January 5, 2025.
▪️Over 65,000 additional deaths from starvation.
▪️Women and children comprise approximately 60% to 70% of total fatalities.
▪️An additional 10,000 people are estimated to be missing and presumed buried under rubble.
▪️Over 80% of buildings in Gaza are reported to be damaged or destroyed, with an estimated 320,000+ housing units affected and over 60 million tonnes of rubble created.
Hell on earth. And there is absolutely no justification for this scale of atrocity whatsoever.
Again, these are the individuals who can directly impact the lives of Americans with hope and prosperity, but instead try and scare the ever loving shit out of everyone because they have no other choice.
Never policy. Just fear.
Never results. Just fear.
Fearmongering.

Todd Boehly and Eghbali are clueless on every single level.
They took a debt free club and within 4 years recoded the largest loss ever recorded in football. On a business level they’re making a mess of it.
On a football level they’ve spent over £1.2 billion, ripped apart a champions league winning squad with a truly elite level manager and have signed over 45 players and made us worse. Hired a manager who has achieved nothing, proven nothing and that no one else in the league would have considered. And because of their complete lack of knowledge about the game they refuse to add any sort of experience and by doing so created the youngest squad in the league which is incapable of challenging for any top tier competition.
It’s going to backfire, fans will start to turn away very soon

If we were still a club with standards, this joke of a manager would be sacked at half time.
