That's actually kind of a rabbit hole. I've read most of his stuff. He seems up to speed on a lot of creepy elite activities.

The Watchmen comic kinda ends on a project bluebeam type event. Alan Moore might have been doing some predictive programming type stuff, for quite a long time. I'm not implying sinister motive.

I think I'm onto something here.
All societies are eventually built around ppl trying to address the recurring problem of destructively unequal power dynamics. You might even say that the history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles...

similar to how amazon refused to install AC bc it was cheaper to externalize the cost of an ambulence for heat stroke onto the employee, capitalists will always choose the cheapest option even if it causes mass death
A friendly reminder that data centers don't actually need water. They need a cooling system and are using water because it's the cheapest way to do it.

It’s as if people can’t imagine not having a politician in their life to worship. I believe they are the secular version of priests from days of old, and they fill a spiritual void people feel in modern society. Further, I believe politicians are well aware of this dynamic, and have been exploiting it ruthlessly since before we were born.

Labor vs finance is the form in which we find the left/right dichotomy. But what it's actually expressing is two opposing positions concerning the distribution of power. "Right" means to want power to rest in the hands of the very few. "Left" favors equalized distribution.

"Left" ends up being the better position for those who care about stability & the unbroken continuation of society & civilization. Cuz extreme power concentration lends itself to extremely destructive systems of production & societal organization. Cuz power can insulate itself.

The oligarch on his private island doesn't need to care about the fact that his factories are poisoning your water supply. He gets the best water in the world shipped in to him by private jet. What does he care? He makes more money by poisoning you.

The protests in France started with teachers striking because of underfunding and overcrowding. There were rats in classrooms. High School students then joined the protests. University students then joined the protests. Then trade unions joined. The French police violently overreacted. NONE of this has to do with Muslim people or immigrants. Anyone who says it's a Muslim problem is a lying bigot.
🇫🇷 French police have left protesters with injuries that human rights lawyers told outlets compare to those seen in conflict zones, as a student uprising over crumbling schools and the cost of living enters its fifth week. Over Saturday and Sunday alone, French outlets StreetPress, Index and ViolencesPolicières(dot)fr collected several hundred videos and testimonies. Cases they documented include: 🔸 A 17-year-old in Saint-Étienne whose hand was torn off by a police grenade 🔸 A 17-year-old girl in Mulhouse who lost the sight in her left eye after being hit by a tear gas grenade 🔸 Protesters in Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg and Besançon beaten with batons and kicked while on the ground, including one held in a chokehold France's police watchdog has opened at least 36 investigations into police violence against high school protesters. Christophe Calvao, president of the Paris Young Lawyers' Union, denounced "an increasingly systematic use of crowd-control measures that would normally be reserved for much more serious situations." Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez has said police "must be able to use all intermediate weapons," and on Tuesday vowed to "step up" for the next mobilization. France Unbowed leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon said his party and unions know how to keep marches peaceful by deploying hundreds of volunteers, adding: "We could at least expect police to do something other than fire indiscriminately into the crowd." Melenchon also noted that most European countries ban such grenades, and that Nuñez suspended them only to reinstate them "not even 48 hours" later. 🎥 Edited by @samivanderlip. Politicians make their voters feel complicit in their horrific crimes, and then those voters defend those crimes in order to relieve their feelings of complicity.

Left means you side with labor over finance.
I'm using the word according to what the word actually means. The initiated are under no obligation to adhere to colloquialisms of those who don't really know very much.

There is some utility in having a term to describe ones positioning in the natural antagonism between the two opposing forces of labor and finance. What side do you choose? We already have terms to describe what side you land on.
