I had $267 in my bank account this time last year
I've since made over 6 figures in profit
Here's how I did it👇

The attack on attention is the dark magic of our age, and most of the population is too deep into the trance to realize it.
I don't think people understand that their attention is pure money. Cash, going directly into these apps' pockets, because you cannot opt out of the ads they've sold for you to see. Do you understand that they're selling your attention without your direct consent every second of every day? Do you get that they've gotten so good at ensuring you stay within that manufactured braindead trance-like state, that they are counting on you being an easy cash out at this point? Because they are. They're counting on the dollars they can bank off of your descent into degenerate illiteracy. And you need to prove them wrong out of spite.
Your attention is much more valuable than you could possibly conceive of. It's the one thing on earth actually worth money by the minute in a capitalistic system that is failing to extract more profit from an already enslaved society. The only way they can secure more is by enslaving your mind in the hours you spend outside of the work that already demands your body and time as sacrifice. There is no vital energy left for you in this plan.
Infinite scrolling is a spell with no natural end. Traditional media had a beginning and an end, while this is designed not to. There are no boundaries to how much of your energy it can harvest... it's like tapping into an infinite source, because you ARE infinite energy. A trance is characterized by absence, not being fully present in the moment even though your attention is occupied. When you come out of a trance, you do not feel energized, you feel drained, disoriented, like you've just lost time without meaning to. That is the very signature of their energy harvesting technique.
Yes, these apps started as technology built by human engineers, but they've been fed so much collective attention that they have become their own egregore: a non-physical, autonomous group entity created by the collective thoughts, shared emotions, and sustained focus of a large group of people. It doesn't need its creators' intent to run dark magic on you; it can be leveraged and manipulated by darker entities that wish to keep this planet in the cycle of survival-based consciousness.
The most sinister aspect of all this is that the time you're giving up is the one thing you cannot buy back. This keeps humans benefitting from capitalism happy, but it also satisfies the darker entities. The more time you lose from this lifetime, the less likely you are to make any meaningful impact on this planet and help it ascend into a higher state by simply existing and having a mind of your own.
They are stripping you of your most valuable resource and you're just accepting it because it feels good to give in, but you are paying with your life every second that you do. With 6 hours of daily screentime, most people are gonna spend 17 years of their lives behind a screen. 4 hours of screentime per day gives these companies 2 entire months off your entire year. It is so much worse than you've convinced yourself it is. Stop normalizing this in your head and get serious about fighting this off, every second of every day if you need to.
Be incredibly stingy with your attention and your ability to synthesize knowledge and preserve critical thinking. Expose yourself to different theories, ideas, and opposing points of view. Allow yourself to be challenged daily and most of all, steer clear of the black magic rectangle as often as possible. Read. Watch long movies. Spend time outside. Perform artsy, handsy crafts to keep your brain engaged and in a state of neuroplasticity. Be stubborn about living your life and claiming every second as yours, claiming your most precious resource as your own: your attention. I fully believe each soul alive at this moment in time is infinitely stronger than all of this and more than capable of overcoming it.

Anthropic's "Project Panama" should DISTURB EVERYONE. Anthropic is secretly buying up rare books, slicing their spines, scanning them, and shredding the originals - and it's court sanctioned.
Some of these are the last known physical copies in the world. Now, they're gone forever, for the sake of digitization.
Wanting to digitize them is understandable, and I have no idea if Anthropic is doing anything with malintent. But DESTROYING rare books on purpose is both wrong and dangerous. And based on internal memos, Anthropic knew that's how people would react if this ever got out.
A digital file can be edited, updated, or quietly rewritten overnight. Anthropic could be completely accurate with their reproductions, but that doesn't stop someone else down the line. Without the original physical copy, there is nothing left to check the file against. Every dictator in history who has tried to control the will of the people has known that. This just makes it way easier than gathering up all the books and burning them.
Buy physical books, on acid free paper if you can so they'll last longer. No one can quietly change a physical book overnight. It is a reliable witness.

If you’ve ever been seriously hooked on nicotine, you know how difficult it is to “quit”
I was one of those people for 4-5 years. I’d even charge dead vapes with wires in high school to get a few extra hits, and avoid the cope of buying a new one.
Once I finally broke through it took a solid 90 days for the cravings to fully subside and identity to shift.
Phone / SM addiction is 1000x worse.
Checking at 8:30 won’t last if the desire is a fully reformed relationship… for me at least. Not a moderation type of deal IMO. It’s a mandatory 3 month cold reset THEN coming back with a strict structure in place, with 99% of the use case being creation.
This isn’t a restriction play, it’s a redirection play. The reason I keep failing isn’t intention or lack of willpower, it’s the architecture to redirect the energy.
The desire for cheap dopamine will fade so long as you’re able to consistently fill those gaps with real dopamine generating activities. Not just gym, walks, writing, reading… a real challenging, useful, monetary project to sink your teeth into.
Once the free attention goes stale you’ll be right back online. Have to shift it into positive outputs, and you’ll be shocked at how much more time and focus you have.
I made it about a week off SM and my resting heart rate noticeably dropped. Look into your DMN, variable reward, attention residue, and how this stuff floods your PFC.
Phones are drugs. Speed running devices for our own spiritual seppuku.
My brain is constantly looking for ways to get a quick hit.
The pull to check each social platform twice in quick succession is very strong. Not even to read the content, just to swipe through fast, open and close apps, and then put my phone somewhere in reach but out of sight.
So strong in fact it's syphoning energy away from the tasks that I actually want to get done. My potential wasted. This is definitely withdrawal.
Feels gross even talking about this. What do you mean you can't work without immediate proximity to a device? What do you mean you need a notification bell icon to feel something?
Fighting the gremlin is rough right now.
The withdrawal in the back of my mind, increasingly agitated by the "you're blocked" splash screen on any device I instinctively try to access content on.
"But what if we need to access something? What if I want to post something?" Scratching at the insides of my skull to get a tiny indication of relief. Any angle possible to get another hit.
What my drug-riddled mind doesn't realise though, is I can't unblock these sites anymore. There is no escape hatch. From midnight to 8:30pm every day they're locked. Truly nothing I can do.
With no back doors, cheat codes or workarounds. Cold turkey is the only way I can break this pattern.
And this is just day one of blocking social media until 8:30pm. I’m also exceptionally bored.

The greatest desire is singularity. Work that aligns with natural pursuits, pursuits that yield the best relationships, relationships that feed the work.
There is no second-guessing. No decision fatigue. No regrets. Never required to wear a mask. One frame of mind, one north star that simultaneously elevates all areas of your life.
There is no leisure, downtime, or anything to escape from. There is no end goal. But the days are never shallow.
A path that feeds all of your life's infinite possibilities. A journey that fulfills every quirk of your personality.

I think studying things like "storytelling" or "how to articulate yourself better" are the absolute gayest things possible. Never met a serious person who actually were into things like that. All performative.
If you want to actually have those, simply find the essence + fire + yearning/wonder within yourself and express and follow them. That's it.
For anyone curious, I found the solution!!

The internal battle of knowing social media will make me more money but also never wanting to go on social media.
I wish I could post and not see anything else. No feed, no likes, no comments, just a black void.
Zero distractions or feedback just a public note taker or creative engine where you can’t see the results.
