On October 1, Immunologix Laboratories hosted the 3rd Annual Bioanalysis Symposium: The Science of Fit-For-Purpose Bioanalysis, at Le Méridien Boston Cambridge.
The program spanned three sessions centered on a single question that ran through the day: how to design and validate bioanalytical strategies that answer the specific clinical question a therapeutic program needs to address, rather than defaulting to legacy assay conventions.

AAPS has released the program for the 2026 PharmSci 360 event taking place from 25–28 October at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (New Orleans, LA, USA).
Symposia, keynotes, speaker spotlights, poster sessions, hot topic presentations and rapid-fire talks taking place at PharmaSci 360 will examine the current trends in pharmaceutical sciences. With five main tracks, topics include immunogenicity assessment for emerging modalities, patient-centric and decentralized sampling, ultra-sensitive and multiplexed bioanalysis, strategies for new approach methodologies (NAMs) and organ-on-chip, and the ever-present battle against regulatory ‘gray areas’.

Humanoid robot development in general is picking up speed.
June 2026 brought us something straight out of a sci-fi film: humanoid robots mastering pipettes, beakers and Erlenmeyer flasks on live TV. Government-sponsored research centers are now training these mechanical scientists for real-world lab work.
But what part does this have to play in the bioanalytical industry?
Ming Li from Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease, provides a few thoughts ➡️ hubs.ly/Q04z0ntP0
The final White Paper in the vaccine LBA trilogy has been published in Bioanalysis, completing a 5-year endeavor to create an overarching vaccine assay validation document that began in early 2021.
The series is the outcome of a collaborative effort by a working group of experts from 16 global vaccine manufacturers, national regulatory authorities, and a nonprofit global-health foundation convened under the Workshop on Recent Issues in Bioanalysis (WRIB).
Part 2 offers clear guidance on the iterative process of LBA development, essential for ensuring long-term assay performance and regulatory confidence.
