Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again." — Jason Calacanis
Jason, I'll bet you $1,000,000 it will break its ATH. Here are the terms:
Bitcoin hits or exceeds $126,210.50 on or before October 28, 2028, 12PM PST
I’m happy to trust you to pay or if you prefer we can each escrow the dollars with independent party.
The bet is either settled when Bitcoin hits the ATH or on October 28, 2028.
@jason Do we have a bet?

$100,000 in 1980 vs. $100,000 in 2026.
Same number. VERY different purchasing power.
In 1980, $100K could buy what costs roughly $409K today.
That means the US dollar has lost over 75% of its purchasing power in just 46 years.
And people still think holding cash is safe.
This is why I believe in #Bitcoin

Bitcoin is now used more than credit cards in El Salvador.
• Used Bitcoin (2024): 8% (Iudop/UCA)
• Active credit card users: 7% (World Bank)
Both still lag far behind cash, but considering credit cards have had 50 years to catch on, bitcoin adoption is doing just fine.
Hey @grok what percentage of Salvadorans use Bitcoin and what percentage of Salvadorans use credit cards. How long has it taken credit card usage in El Salvador to reach this level?

No crypto wallet is 100% safe.
No software is bug free.
No tech is 100% secure.
There are risks in everything you do.
There are risks if you don't do anything.
There will be issues, setbacks and problems to solve.
Stay up-to-date. Manage risks. Solve problems.

When you're broke, you dream about making your first million.
When your portfolio finally hits $1M, you realise nothing has really changed.
Your lifestyle is the same, your worries are still there, and somehow, you still feel broke.

Just opened one of my @Ledger nano X device bought in the Netherlands from @Coolblue_NL.
This one looks safe to me. I'm using Ledger since 2017 and nothing to complain about.
