Well he certainly wasn’t as charismatic as he thought, that’s for sure. I guess my main point is, he wasn’t trying to hurt her or violate her… I think what he thought he was just being charming and that with many other women he’d been around throughout his life, it probably would have worked.
If he was trying to violate or harm her, I don’t think he would’ve immediately recognized the shame when he got that reaction
