Everyone should remember, he is still under a red notice. That has'nt changed. If he publicly surfaced and was in the "news feed", that would likely provoke action by the same people that launched legal actions against him conveniently the same week his film was to launch.
Living in the world, is no longer a serious industry! Social Media and the attention economy has ruined everything. I remember when people feared prosecution for drawing attention to things like this, they may or may not have been involved in.. Now, they drop a ticker... LoLz
