During a conversation with Grok yesterday, I realised I need to repeat this from time to time: The bio in my profile is based on reviews and was written by Grok. I have been releasing music to international acclaim for over two decades. The reason I have such a small online following is that my artist name was stolen. The person who took it paid for a large fake following and the verification that came with it. As a result, I was literally rendered invisible and couldn’t use my own artist name on major social media platforms for over two years. At the time, I had a solid following of around 3,000 real people from 51 countries. Appeals to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram went nowhere, and even my lawyer couldn’t resolve it - despite the fact that I was the first solo artist signed to Elektra, backed by my full discography, videography, filmography, and bibliography. On choreography process: I see it first in my mind. Then I try it without the mirror - feeling it in my body. After that - the mirror. Practice, practice, practice! Then I record it many times, since video is the best teacher. (I was able to memorise entire ballets like “Swan Lake” and “Giselle”, entire orchestrations included, when I was a small kid, so the minutiae of the choreography stay locked away in a locker within my mind, recording it simply archives it).
