Bitcoin's halving is deterministic. Its market cycle is not.
Our new investigation separates the protocol clock from liquidity, regimes and the broader business cycle.
The four-year framework is a map—not a guaranteed calendar.

Update (Oct. 8, 15:55 BRT): CoinMarketCap recorded $1.46B in liquidations over a rolling 24 hours—$1.36B in longs and $99.11M in shorts. This is a new reading of the same moving window, not an additional $1.46B.

Update (12:44 BRT): CoinMarketCap now shows about $1.15B in crypto liquidations over a rolling 24 hours—$1.07B in longs and $79.66M in shorts. The original post cited an earlier CoinGlass snapshot. These are separate, fast-moving readings; they should not be added together.

STRATEGY ADDS 334 BITCOIN AS TOTAL HOLDINGS REACH 848,000 BTC
Strategy’s Bitcoin ledger shows a $29 million acquisition at an average price of $85,839 per BTC. The company now reports 848,000 BTC acquired for approximately $63.97 billion at an average cost of $75,441.
The purchase is small relative to the existing treasury, but it confirms that accumulation continued after September’s larger additions.

BITCOIN PULLS BACK TOWARD $83K
Bitcoin trades near $83,286, down about 1.9% after ranging between $82,598 and $85,060. Ether is near $2,680, while Solana underperforms at roughly $119.50.
Friday’s finalized ETF data remained positive: BTC funds added $134.5M, ETH funds $87.0M and SOL funds $86.7M.
The divergence matters—but fund inflows do not guarantee an immediate price floor. This is a time-stamped market snapshot, not a directional call.
ZEC AND UNI ENTER BITWISE'S LARGE-CAP INDEX
Bitwise's September 30 rebalance will add Zcash and Uniswap to its 10 Large Cap Crypto Index while removing Sui and Litecoin. SKY will replace CRV in its DeFi index.
An index rebalance changes benchmark composition. It is not a forecast or direct evidence of future demand.
BITWISE CRYPTO MODELS ENTER 135,000+ VISE ACCOUNTS
Bitwise and Vise are rolling out diversified crypto model portfolios across a platform serving hundreds of wealth firms and more than 135,000 accounts.
The models offer managed allocation frameworks; they do not eliminate crypto volatility, tax complexity or loss risk.

Executive hires show direction—not guaranteed adoption or network growth.

BITCOIN TESTS JPMORGAN'S $85K PRODUCTION-COST LINE
JPMorgan estimates Bitcoin's average production cost near $85,000. After 280 days below that level, a sustained break above it could reduce pressure on higher-cost miners to sell or shut machines down.
Production cost is an estimate and a soft reference—not a guaranteed price floor.
