This product received a British design award from the design council, but more importantly the product remained in production for 19 years with New team Showers, Damixa and Bristan. During this time it sold over 200,000 units generating over £18 million in revenue

We designed and developed the Refuge Alerter for the Alerter Group. The product is a digital radio-based emergency voice communication system for disabled people, for use in the event of an emergency to help evacuate disabled people from a disabled refuge area.
The style and appeal of a product have a great deal to do with its saleability. In some projects we’ve collaborated on, the aesthetic design can be a key part of the brief.

We were approached to develop a system comprising of a base unit and interface, giving Guidance Automation a first stage prototype AMR they could develop for manufacture. Working closely with electronic and hardware engineers from Guidance Automation, we took that a step further.
