Head in the east. Heart in the west. Both made in the midwest near the CAT plant. Enjoy sleeping outdoors. Always listening.

He called them suckers and losers. He refused to visit their fellow fallen, in Europe. But today, with an election coming up, Donald Trump pretends to care about all those who died in service to America.

Hard to measure but I suspect upper middle class and wealthy boomers are funding millennials and younger generational spending by transferring assets/cash and paying bills, and in the process pumping retail sales and the economy. In essence they are liquidating balance sheets to pay for spending. This is likely to continue as long as stocks/housing prices stay elevated.

Russian political analyst Dmitry Oreshkin tells @tvrain why he believes Putin agreed to the swap. 1. It shows he won't abandon agents like Krasikov (in order to continue recruitment for extrajudicial acts). 2. Opens pathway for potential Ukraine negotiations.

Tell me why again there should be an aggressive easing cycle with: * Real GDP growth at 2.8% * Core PCE price growth at 2.9% * Stocks up double digits this year and just off all time highs * Spreads near secular lows

This is the money quote for the whole Trump v. United States case. Justice Barrett has it exactly right — and shows why the Court (and maybe the Special Counsel) is making this way too hard. The sole question should be whether acts relating to running for president are core executive functions or not. Obviously, they are not. The President has no role in the selection of the President. Period.

If you or someone you know didn't get into an "elite" college or university in the United States, now you know who they did let in. These are not our nation's brightest. (btw - if you're wondering why we don't have more videos like these, it's because the leaders of the illegal encampment are not letting protestors speak with the media. Seriously. Watch the clip in the first comment)

This also happened on Facebook and Uber. Way more money made “stabilizing” than “underwriting”. [Quotes are because they did neither in reality]. Important to see the curtain pulled back on this completely unnecessary & one-sided process. Heads I win, tails you lose.

There is talk in Washington and the region about trying to pay off Egypt, which is facing a debt crisis, to host Palestinians displaced by the war in Gaza. The precedent would be the debt relief that Hosni Mubarak received in 1991 for joining the Gulf war. economist.com/finance-and-ec…

The Red Sox put real thought into Mookie leaving. The history of expensive hitters tailing off in their 30s psyched them out. They completely discounted what a unique and exceptional athlete Mookie is, and what a special guy he is. It’s THE dumbest Boston trade of my lifetime.

It's past time to ban lawmakers in Congress and their spouses from owning or trading individual stocks. I've got a bipartisan bill to do just that.
