The soccer proposal is not being portrayed accurately-The five spring contests are already in your budget: officials, trainers, turf, and travel-Rescinding the proposal doesn't save that money; it just means you spend it with nothing to show for it-What the revised proposal actually requires is a minimum of three spring contests for postseason eligibility-Three-Not five, not ten-Schools are currently permitted five exhibition matches each spring, so three is fewer than programs already schedule-Conferences can still hold their championships in the fall for the automatic bid-The only new pieces are a May national championship and one 15-day transfer window-That's the whole trade: the same spring costs, with real upside-This is the accurate information-Rescinding the proposal makes no sense, either for the athletes or for the budget-Most importantly, the students want it @UVMADschulman @ScottCarrAD @TempleOwls_AD @_EdScott @RHiggins_USF @GoVCURamsAD @GrahamNeff @AD_DamonEvans @BtotheBlair @joshheird @SashoCirovski @DrakeADHardin

The soccer proposal is not being portrayed accurately. Most importantly, the students want it. The five spring contests are already in your budget: officials, trainers, turf, and travel. Rescinding the proposal doesn't save that money; it just means you spend it with nothing to show for it. What the revised proposal actually requires is a minimum of three spring contests for postseason eligibility. Three. Not five, not ten. Schools are currently permitted five exhibition matches each spring, so three is fewer than programs already schedule. Conferences can still hold their championships in the fall for the automatic bid. The only new pieces are a May national championship and one 15-day transfer window. That's the whole trade: the same spring costs, with real upside. This is the accurate information. Rescinding the proposal makes no sense, either for the athletes or for the budget. @AndrewGavinAD @ChasseConque @KitHughesHC @TerryMohajirAD @JDonati_SC @wrenbaker @TimoJJ @UMassADBamford @DrMartinKC_AD @LMUPintens @DU_AthDir

The soccer proposal is not being portrayed accurately. Of most importance, the students want it. The five spring contests are already on your budget — officials, trainers, turf, travel. Rescinding doesn't save that money. It just means you spend it with nothing to show for it. What the revised proposal actually requires is a minimum of three spring contests for postseason eligibility! Three. Not five, not ten. Schools are currently permitted five exhibition matches each spring, so three is less programs already schedule. Conferences can still hold their championship in the fall for the automatic bid. The new pieces are a May national championship and one fifteen-day transfer window. That's the whole trade: same spring costs, real upside. This is the accurate information. Rescinding the proposal does not make sense for athletes or for cost reasons. @UVMADschulman @ScottCarrAD @TempleOwls_AD @_EdScott @RHiggins_USF @GoVCURamsAD @GrahamNeff @AD_DamonEvans @BtotheBlair @joshheird @SashoCirovski @DrakeADHardin

So fortunate to have worked at @Creighton . A place where people like these 5 are around you every day. @EthanFinlay13 is going to continue to make the soccer program proud in the next part of his journey in the sport. @bdrass the best AD ever in US history. Only 4 time National AD of the year. That's what other AD's think of him..but he is an even better person and mentor.

I have enjoyed building programs and making them better. Have been fortunate to be around several Hall of Fame coaches and AD's in my career. @coachjfranklin will forever be one of the most inspirational, most fun, most thoughtful program builder. He is just a really good person to be around in any circumstance.Whether at a speaking engagement with him or eating at a favorite restaurant. Always, every single time, came away learning something new. Love this guy!

Few have done more for the good of the game…and none have done more with his level of kindness...We will miss this good great man for so many reasons
It is with immense sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved State Referee Administrator, Jim McVay.

1 of the most challenging things I did at Creighton-convince high school ADs to move the high school championship to a facility designed for soccer-Previously it was played on a football field.Last night 7111 in attendance-and players were so proud 💙
