Johnny wasn't even a pro yet, hell, he was still a kid in the flashback mentioning Diego. meeting Diego and saying "I don't trust that guy" makes sense. Not everyone would go "I met you 7 years ago and still hold a grudge." This feels more realistic.

one thing to point out is that Araki made it clear that this is different. Even the pass of his brother isn't even confirmed whether it's Diego's doing or not it's more likely to make old fans keep guessing if this Dio is the same they even baited it out in the Anime intro

What if I tell you there are plenty of games that revolve around said “sauce” and generate players and revenue indefinitely? Video games aren’t necessities, so the “sauce” should be considered part of the product, not just icing on the cake.

“As long as it is good” yeah, hence why the sauce needs to be good too. Otherwise I could boot up Unreal Engine, make Capsule Man punch a rectangular box with a health bar, and that’s essentially the same thing, is it not?
