As a pastor, one of the the most important things for me to take away and hand to others is this: James Talarico in no way, shape or form is an actual Christian. Word have meaning. Things have definitions. By any standard, by the ultimate standard of the Word, he doesn’t know Jesus but used Jesus in the discipleship void of current southern culture where so many profess a Jesus 1) they can’t explain 2) changes with their viewpoints. We might have a lot of church attendance across the nation, but discipleship? Knowing what the Bible teaches and how to defend it? There’s a true famine.
