These are not 2D cliffs. There's only 1 cliff texture. Yes those are shadows. Yes that's 3D lighting Yes it auto tiles. Yes it automatically fills small gaps. Yes it's fully place-able in Godot by choosing height & left clicking Yes it works for 3D games
