Thats completely correct, I personally didnt liked BC that much but after letting my thoughts get cold I do think it really is just a different take to the series, not the take I would have wanted but not less valid because of that

🎮 Konami's 2010 Xbox 360 multiplayer Castlevania adventure is getting a native Windows port through HarmonyRecomp!
And the developer reports that all stages and all six original characters are playable!

Four to a team, each with a theme!
Roster ended up bigger than Tokon's but Nintendo generally has more to work with so I'm fine with that. It's still pretty reasonably sized honestly.

Special Ops Mode events build on the familiar Fierce Enemy Assault, letting you freely combine Special Ops that alter battle conditions and take on a variety of combat scenarios.
The more you play, the more event rewards you'll earn.
▼ About Special Ops
Special Ops are special conditions you can set for battles.
Setting Special Ops allows you to aim for higher scores, but also makes battles more difficult to clear.
The score you earn for winning a battle is based on the Special Ops you have set.
You can earn mission rewards and unlock new Special Ops based on your best score.
Try out different tactics to complete Special Ops and get those event rewards!
