‘A Thousand Blues’ is a story that explores what it means to be human and how we can sometimes forget to act with compassion. ‘A Thousand Blues’ is set in the year 2035 where humanoids and humans co-exist.

Cheon Seon-ran expertly weaves so many themes and ideas into her narrative: isolation, reflections on happiness, disability rights, and animal dignity. There's no novel I love more than one that makes me reflect upon my own actions and ‘A Thousand Blues’ did exactly that.
