The 2-4 hours you spend scrolling each day (or 730-1460 hours each year) is more than enough time to write a book, build a business, or get in shape. In the moment, it seems like nothing. That's why it's so dangerous. Your time disappears without you being conscious of it.

The voice in your head is either a coach, a tyrant, a lawyer, or a scared child with a microphone. Your life depends on which one you keep promoting.

3. Cash in your career capital for control. 💵 When you first start at a job, you basically have no autonomy, a.k.a. control. But when you get really good at a job & build career capital in it, you can cash that in for more autonomy.

2. Develop a craftsmen mindset. 👷‍♂️ This is the opposite of the advice to follow your passion. Instead, develop skills that will lead to the career you want. The more skills you acquire that synergise with that career, the more likely you'll be able to succeed in it.

Working long hours is not a sufficient condition for doing great things, but it does appear to be a necessary one, especially in the early stages.

In a debate on @PiersUncensored, @FleurHassanN asked: “Where are the Palestinian Mandelas?” In response, I noted that tens of thousands of Palestinian Mandelas peacefully protested Israel’s siege and ethnic cleansing in Gaza’s Great March of Return, which began in March 2018. Israel’s Apartheid army gunned them down, killing over 200 and wounding thousands. Her rebuttal was that they’re all “Hamas terrorists.”
