🚨 UNMASKING ANOTHER ART THIEF 🚨 A warning to fellow creators and comic book fans. The account @Juliet_te07 is presenting artwork created by other artists as its own. While reviewing this account's portfolio, I noticed significant inconsistencies in artistic style and skill level. Looking closer, I discovered pieces that appear to be taken directly from published comic books, including artwork from Saga. This isn't about artistic inspiration or differing styles. It's about taking another creator's work and presenting it as your own. Artists spend years developing their skills and deserve recognition for their work. Credit belongs to the original creators. I'll include examples so you can see the evidence and judge for yourselves. Protect artists. Respect their work. Don't support art theft. — Bootlegger Comics

Received the recent print I ordered from @DanLawlis or "Flawless" Lawlis as I call him. I can't wait to frame it and put up. He also included a very cool Frankenstein sketch. Such a badass piece.

"Look, someone I consider an idiot blocked me. That must mean I'm one of the smart ones." A block isn't a medal, and it certainly isn't a measure of intellectual superiority. It's the self-importance of the presentation, rather than the event itself, that makes it eye-roll worthy. Like announcing when ine is leaving C/twitter. – at Denton, TX

EXHIBIT C: THIRD ARTIST IDENTIFIED Another piece from the ArtStation portfolio associated with @Juliet_te07 has been traced to its original creator. This time, it's Griffith fan art from Berserk, created by Alba Ballesta González (@albabbgg on Instagram). The artwork is identical, right down to the artist's signature in the bottom-right corner. That's now THREE pieces of artwork from THREE different artists appearing in the same portfolio. Fiona Staples. Ella Frehtman. Alba Ballesta González. These artists deserve proper credit for their work. And I've only examined a fraction of the 50 images in this portfolio. – at Haslet, TX

EXHIBIT B: THE MISSING SIGNATURE Here's where things get particularly interesting. The artwork "NEKO Cafe" was posted by its creator, Ella Frehtman (@ellallueve), on November 15, 2021. In Ella's original image, her signature is clearly visible in the bottom-left corner. Now look at the version appearing in Juliet's ArtStation portfolio. The image has been cropped, and Ella's signature is gone. That's two pieces of artwork I've traced to other artists, and now an example where the original artist's identifying mark has been cropped out. I'll let the evidence speak for itself. – at Haslet, TX

EXHIBIT A: The account @Juliet_te07 links to an ArtStation portfolio containing artwork from Saga #8, published by Image Comics. The original artist is Fiona Staples. The artwork appears in this portfolio without any visible attribution in the screenshots. This is not an obscure piece of artwork. It's a published comic book cover by an established professional artist. Creators deserve credit for their work. Passing someone else's artwork off as your own is unacceptable. – at Haslet, TX

Good morning, comicsgate and all the comic fans at sea. I decided to give the Midnight series by Marvel a try. I love horror comics and what I had heard a our this series peaked my interest. Of the three, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and X-Men, Spider-man was the worst. The art was trash and it was about three pages worth of story. FF was the one I liked best. I love cosmic horror. The X-men did a better job of giving the reader a story, there was more meat to it storywise. I'm curious what your opinion was.
