I worked with Skinscom and Pricempire for most of this summer, on both QA testing (for Pricempire V2) and social media. I think the community should know how that went. - The bug While testing Pricempire's V2, I found a trading exploit that let you buy an item, get your balance refunded, and still receive the item. It was repeatable with throwaway accounts, so the only real ceiling was the site's inventory. Their own ticket has it labeled Urgent and Security. The first fix only clawed the money back afterwards by pushing the wallet negative, which does nothing against a throwaway account, so it was reopened after security review and a second fix was needed to actually close the refund path. I reported it privately, sent the devs a video, and waited for their go ahead before writing reproduction steps anywhere. I never used it for anything beyond testing. I actually ended up out of pocket figuring it out. Alongside that I reported 40+ medium to high severity bugs that got fixed. - The money The deal was $2 to $5 per fixed bug, plus a bonus for critical findings. At the end I was told the 40+ bugs came to about $100, and that they were bumping it to $250 "because of the critical findings." So the floor of the range for every single bug, and $150 for an exploit that could have emptied nearly the entire inventory (Pricempire and Skins appear to share it). That leaves me with two thoughts: If this is what these companies think the people working for them are worth, how much do you think they value their customers? I believe the person running social, marketing and testing there, Laith Cooper (Crim / whoiscriminal), is the reason I ended up with a fraction of what I should have been paid. I'll explain why below and you can judge for yourself. - The social media work I was on the X management team for both Skins and Pricempire nearly the whole summer. The team was me, Crim and Pineapple(sh3fas). I sourced 95% of tweets that went out on both accounts and dropped them in the group, Crim rewrote them with AI and posted. I was never given access to either account, even though I had been working with Skins since January. That always felt off. I was supposed to be paid $500 a month for running both accounts. Instead I got $1,000 for June and July in one lump, two and a half months in, right as I was being let go. I kept working through mid August, was not paid for any of it, and found out I was done when I got removed from the groups. Conveniently, right after the testing wrapped up. I was never announced as part of the team, never got a role in the Discord despite asking several times, and only ever spoke to Crim and two other people from management. After I was let go I posted that I was looking for work and listed Skins and Pricempire as past clients. Crim DMed me asking why I shared that without asking him first. That was the last straw. - What I can and can't prove I have no proof that Crim took a cut of my pay or presented my work as his own to Skins management. I want to be clear about that. What I do have is everything above, the fact that I organized the other testers and the whole testing operation for no extra pay, his recent hiring tweet saying "we pay extremely well," and the fact that he blocked me right after I posted a vague tweet about this last week. So there are two possibilities. Either Crim decided what I got paid, in which case you should know who is running the accounts of the marketplace you trade your skins on. Or Skinscom management set those numbers themselves, in which case you should know how much a skin marketplace values the people who keep it running. I'm not asking for money and I'm not here to trash anyone. I just want people to be aware of where they trade. Last thing, for @Romer . I see what you post about spending every day. If the money is real, why is this how your company treats the people working for it? And if you actually care about your CS marketplace, are you aware of who is running it for you?
Saved a CS2 trading site from losing over $100k in items while testing. Got paid $250 for it. That's less than 0.25% of what they would've lost. So much for "we pay extremely well". 💀🙈

On 19 August I signed an agreement with Skinscom that closed the writing side of my work with them. That is why my first post covered only testing and social media and left the writing out. Grizzly has now put the writing matter, and a detector report from that dispute, in public himself. So here is the record, from the documents. - The writing work I wrote SEO articles for Skinscom from January to July 2026, on a signed contractor agreement at 3 to 4 cents a word. Every batch went through their editor, Emanuel Villalobos (ema@skinscom), who assigned the work, sent revision notes and reviewed the final versions. Their written instruction was that no AI tools be used. I followed it. From the first batch in January, his review included an AI check alongside the revisions. Articles went in, came back with notes, got revised, got checked, got signed off, got paid. The company's own letter of 6 August later confirmed that screening for AI was part of his job. That was the process for six months, and my position on the AI question has not changed once in six months of correspondence. - July 6 July: Ema assigns the July batch by email. 15 July: Ema reviews the articles, asks for edit access to one of them, and signs off in writing: "Done, nothing major in any of the articles." 18 July: Grizzly posts in the writers' Discord that "the majority of the writing" has been flagged as AI, the writer program is ending, submit your final invoices and transfer all writings to Ema. I said "okay boss" and did both. 22 July: I invoice 20 articles, 21,949 words, $877.96. They took delivery of all 20 and refused to pay for any of them. On 4 August, before any lawyer was involved, crim (Laith Cooper) put the offer in writing: if the content is AI then "it feels like we've been stolen from", so the options are A, work for free to pay off what was stolen, or B, don't. I answered the same day: none of the articles I wrote were AI, and the paid ones were checked by their own reviewer. Two days later, the Pangram reports appeared. - The "evidence" The report Grizzly posted is a Pangram 4.0 report dated 6 August. The decision to stop paying was made on 18 July, three weeks before that report existed. I asked in writing, twice, what they had relied on in July. Nothing was ever produced. Eight of the twenty articles were run through the tool. The other twelve were never assessed at all, and the company never claimed otherwise. The same 6 August letter said that failing to screen for AI was a main reason Ema's engagement ended. So their reviewer checked and signed off my work on 15 July, they let him go for not catching what they say was in it, and sent me the bill. I could not produce draft files and I said so plainly: their delivery workflow was copy into .docx and hand it over, I was never asked to keep working files, and I did not, for the paid articles or the unpaid ones. AI detectors are not proof of authorship. OpenAI shut down its own detector over accuracy. Peer-reviewed research shows these tools flag non-native English writers at far higher rates. I am a non-native English writer. - Grizzly (Tim Brown) From January to July, I did not hear from Grizzly once. Not a brief, not a revision note, not a question about a single article. Every assignment, every round of edits and every sign-off came from Ema. The first and last time Grizzly appeared was 18 July. That night he created the Skins Writers group, asked what we were doing and how, asked whether the articles were AI, and at 1:14 AM closed the program: flagged as AI, submit your final invoices, hand over all writings. At 1:15 he asked me whether they were getting a refund on the "7k invoice" they had already paid. I answered the same minute: every article I wrote was hand written, and I offered to go live on stream and write five articles in front of him. At 1:16 his reply, in his own words, was "ok cba", the writing program has concluded, crim will handle the transfer. Then he left the group. Two minutes. That is the full extent of his involvement in six months of work, three days after his own editor had signed the articles off. I offered to prove it live on the spot. Nobody took me up on it. He is now presenting a one-page detector report as the story of that work. He was never in the room for it, and when I offered to put it in front of him, he couldn't be bothered. - The "blackmail" That refers to the testing side, which is a separate matter. The screenshot Grizzly posted is a price negotiation. Read it. There is no threat in it, and it stops right before their answer. - Where it ended I ended the writing matter by agreement on 19 August. Hong Kong arbitration over $877.96 makes no sense for a freelancer in Istanbul, so I gave it up. My acceptance letter said, in writing, that it was not an admission of anything. I will leave the terms of that agreement where they are. Now look at what they gave up. On 18 July Grizzly asked me for a refund on the "7k invoice" he said was AI. On 6 August their lawyers dropped that in writing and asserted no clawback. Nobody who believes they were scammed out of $7,000 drops it three weeks later without a fight. They did, and then came to X with a detector report and called it the story. It is not. - Felix You own this. Everything above is documented, and every screenshot is from your own team. Grizzly ended a six-month writing program in two minutes without ever having been part of it, and answered an offer to prove the work live with "ok cba". Crim put "work for free to pay off what was stolen" in writing to a contractor whose work your own editor had signed off. Then Grizzly took it to X with a detector report and a blackmail accusation. If you actually care about Skinscom and Pricempire, this is not a contractor problem. It is a management problem, and it has names. If it were my company, both of them would be gone today. It is yours, so that is your call. But you should know that this is how the people running it handle relationships and handle a crisis, and you should ask yourself what else they handle this way.
