Today, we celebrate F/Lt. Mike Shaw of the Communications and Outreach Division who is retiring after 31 years of service! For the past 13 years, F/Lieutenant Shaw served as the Public Information Officer for the MSP Second District and ran the @mspmetrodet account. Members of the Second District and the Communications and Outreach Division are at the New Hope for Grief Support Kids Camp at Millennium Park in Northville. We are running the kickball station and it is going to be super hot (of course) so we will be drinking plenty of water! Make sure you do the same. Keep an eye on others, pets, and seniors! If you need a cooling center most communities have one. Check with them for one close to you! Buckle Up, Phones Down, MoveOverDriveSafe and be Kind!
