Lmao well I did not expect to crossover my love for movies with NFL logos today but here we are
This could ultimately all mean nothing ofc, but let’s have some fun & run through what we know🍿:
- The NFL has to give permission for any film to use their IP (that isn’t used as a parody)
- Almost all licensing & IP agreements happen before principal photography
- Principal photography, aka the first set of filming, started for Bargatze’s The Breadwinner on May 22, 2025
- Teams seeking a rebrand start the process by filing with the league 18 months prior to their debut season, aka March 1
- The Titans met that requirement by filing with the NFL ahead of the March 1, 2025 deadline (per my report)
- They’ll be changing logos for the 2026 season & have extensive interest in making the sword part of their primary look (per my report)
All that to say… the Titans easily could’ve given a set wardrobe of sword logos for production to choose from for this scene. How’s that sound @natebargatze?
