The same facility offered to Minnesota for $75 million, Trump shells out $495 million for? This mess in Appleton isn't getting by me.
I'm demanding that Congress investigate this corrupt misuse of your tax dollars. Enough is enough.

A private prison company offered Minnesota an empty prison for 75 million dollars. The state said no. Then Trump’s administration paid the same company almost 500 million for it.
The prison has sat empty in Appleton, Minnesota since 2010. Last year CoreCivic emailed the state and offered to sell it for 75 million, upgrades included. Minnesota passed. Fifteen months later, Homeland Security bought it for an ICE detention center at 495.6 million.
How could this be? You guessed it. CoreCivic gave half a million dollars to Trump’s inaugural committee. And it still gets paid about 75 million a year to run the place.
Republicans love talking about fraud in Minnesota. JD Vance says his task force is all over it. So where are they on this one? I break it all down in today’s show (link in reply).

Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in living memory, and even for him, this is shocking. Congress must investigate this corrupt $400+ million overpayment to a Trump donor immediately.
"New records obtained by KARE 11 show the company that owned a vacant private prison in Appleton, Minnesota offered to sell it to the state in 2025 for $75 million.
One year later, the Trump administration agreed to use taxpayer funds to buy the same abandoned prison from CoreCivic, Inc., for $495.6 million.
The price difference, $420 million, is more than taxpayers are estimated to have lost in Minnesota’s much-publicized Feeding Our Future fraud scandal." kare11.com/article/news/inve…

They want to throw the Constitution out of the ring. We say NOT ON OUR WATCH.
Governor Jesse Ventura doesn't care about left vs right, he cares about right vs wrong. I'm proud to have Jesse on our team.
Jesse knows that when they come for our rights and freedoms, I don't tap out.

I'm standing up to Trump because he's breaking the law and harming the people of Minnesota.
And because, to be frank, it pisses me off to see someone trying to bully Minnesotans.

NEW: Republican Ron Schutz is set to THROW OUT an ongoing lawsuit from the state of Minnesota against Glock, if elected.
This move would allow Glock to continue selling handguns that can easily be modified into illegal machine guns.
Brian Evans retweeted
Gun safety is on the ballot.
Glock knows their pistols can easily be converted into illegal machine guns, yet they refuse to change their design, so I'm suing them. Converted Glocks pose a serious danger to the people of Minnesota and especially to law enforcement.
My opponent, Ron Schutz, would end that lawsuit and make Minnesota less safe if he wins.

In Minneapolis, fully automatic gunfire went from 154 rounds in 2020 to 3,024 in 2022.
This is about public safety. It's about holding powerful corporations accountable when their choices put Minnesotans in danger. That's why I'm suing Glock for their negligence.
If you can't be bothered to understand the case @RonforMNAG, you have no business dismissing it as "political" and no business being Attorney General.

Ron has once again claimed that the Attorney General can't do anything to help Minnesotans afford their lives.
Well, Ron, have I got news for you.

Look! Ron did the tweet!
Apparently Keith Ellison is campaigning in Rochester today. Channel 6 KAAL reached out for a statement. Here is what I gave them. What do you think the odds are that they report any of what I submitted.
My Statement:
Keith Ellison is claiming that he makes your life affordable. That is nonsense. The most widely used and respected measure of affordability is the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Keith Ellison does not control the price of a single item in the basket of goods and services that make up the CPI. And the most expensive item in almost every household budget is housing. Keith Ellison does not set your rental rate or your mortgage payment. I urge the voters in Minnesota to look at their shopping cart the next time they go to the grocery store and pick up each item and ask themselves whether Keith Ellison set the price of that item. Again, Keith Ellison’s claim that he makes your life affordable is nonsense.
Keith Ellison also claims he is a fraud fighter. That is also nonsense. KSTP did a deep dive into the fraud cases he claims to have prosecuted and found that almost no one goes to jail or ends up with a felony on their record. And on July 1st the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human services looked at the fraud unit inside Keith Ellison’s office and found that “the Unit is not effectively carrying out its statutory functions and requirements.” The Inspector General also found “that the Unit did not exercise proper fiscal control for its Federal grant.” This is astounding! The Attorney General is supposed to fight financial fraud and yet Keith Ellison is not exercising proper fiscal control of his own fraud unit.
