Their performance of My Lovin on this episode was just as fire
When En Vogue hit SNL in March 1992, they dismantled the myth that girl groups couldn’t sing full-throttle live in heels. Trading leads across Cindy, Dawn, Terry, and Maxine, their dynamic control remained untouchable—from Dawn’s raspy rock bite to Terry’s operatic belts. When they converged on the hook, their four-part harmonies locked in with their blend and zero backing tape. The album dropped 3 days later, proving to themselves and to the world just how Funky, these Divas really are.

“Marck, I haven’t seen you ‘out out’ in a minute.”
I’m around… I just released a #1 movie… and one of the only Black Queer films released to a mainstream platform this year… and that takes A LOT of work. Duh. LOL.
Hope you guys are good! See you soon.

Respectfully, please cut your podcasts down to 60 minutes or less. I love you and your guest, but unless I’m invited to the party, I don’t have that much time to sit on the couch and focus on you.

This new @VictoriaMonet music video is giving me life. The art direction, cinematography, and @itsSeanBankhead’s choreography is giving me the 90s aesthetic that Michael, Janet, Brand New Heavies, and En Vogue gave. I love every second of it. 🔥
