We would ask members of the public not to share images or videos of the incident on social media, but instead to report these to the police.

A number of people sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.
A police cordon is in place in Forbury Gardens as officers investigate.
We are asking the public to avoid the area at this time.

The irony of casting my vote in a primary school that has been underfunded, seen record number of pupils in poverty, where parents have to donate equipment to keep lessons going and the pay and pensions of staff have been attacked all for #tory ideology!

Well that’s ironic...
Asked why Tory candidates in Sunderland are not from the area, Boris Johnson says it would 'not be fair to discriminate against people on the basis of where they come from' #GE2019

ALT Register to vote

and don't forget, in General Elections, you are able to register at two addresses and then vote at one of these. Register at your home and uni addresses, then vote at whichever one you will be at on the 12th.

It should take 4-5 mins to register to vote in the #GeneralElection2019 and you've got a whole 14 hours left to do it, but please don't wait until the absolute last minute to test how fast eduroam can send the form. Register now: gov.uk/register-to-vote
23.55 or 23.56? I know @UniofReading students love a deadline. And you've got until midnight tonight to register to vote in #GE2019 at gov.uk/register-to-vote. Some people say it takes 4 mins to register. Some 5. But we all say do it! I'd err on the side of caution and do it now.

It has been another wet week across England, especially in central England. All but four of the rivers that we report on are classed as normal or higher for flow for the time of year, with 7 remaining exceptionally high. #rainandriverdata

Please include @ssencommunity and @CllrTonyPage in comments/complaints.
Please also email [email protected] and MD for networks at SSE [email protected]: a few emails might spur them into action rather than ay the blame game...

RBC you are conspicuous by your absence on the traffic debacle on @BBCBerkshire
I go as far as calling you a coward and challenge you to trial by combat on DeMontfort Island at the break of day tomorrow where you shall meet the same fate as Henry of Essex in 1163!
