This Ferrari 250 GTO re-creation was constructed beginning in 1985 by its current owner at his restoration shop, Badsaddle Stables in Northamptonshire, England, using the shortened chassis of a right-hand-drive 1978 Ferrari 400i and a widened replica aluminum body sourced from Eurospares. The car was completed over the course of approximately seven years with power from a 4.4-liter 365 GT4 four-cam Colombo V12 and has since been driven regularly on the road, including a tour of Europe, alongside occasional club races and hillclimbs in the UK and abroad. In 2009, it was fitted with a 5.75-liter F133E V12 that was sourced from a Ferrari 575M and modified with Jenvey individual throttle bodies, a custom cast intake manifold, custom-fabricated exhaust manifolds, and a DTAFast sequential ECU. It's listed now by our Local Partner, Sports Purpose, on BaT!
