Daniel Boone's son Daniel Morgan Boone married Sarah Griffin Lewis, and they had 12 children (including a Milton, Cassandra, and Napoleon Boone) and 31 grandchildren.
Missourians have the chance tomorrow (Nov. 3) to improve our state constitution and allow many protections for the unborn to go into effect by voting for Amendment 3. Our civil government should protect the life of the innocent.
While I am not in favor of retaining the exception for cases of rape and incest, this protection will be in the constitution regardless of whether Amendment 3 passes or not, and passing this amendment does not hinder us from continuing to work for the protection of the unborn.

This morning I taught a lesson on the theology of Ulrich Zwingli and preached a sermon on Revelation 7, "Who Are These, Dressed in White?" In the evening, I preached a sermon on 2 Chronicles 13, "As for Us, the Lord Is Our God." You can find the links to the recordings below.

500 years ago, in 1526.
Tyndale’s English New Testament had been printed at Worms, and was being smuggled into England.
Luther: Had been married for about a year. The Diet of Speyer (June to August) failed to enforce the Edict of Worms, and thus helped the Lutheran cause.
Zwingli was consolidating reform in Zurich, but his disagreements with Luther on the Lord’s Supper were becoming public.
Bucer in Strasburg was helping shape the emerging Reformed tradition, especially its approach to worship, pastoral ministry, and church order.
Calvin was only seventeen years old, still pursuing his education in France. His Institutes would not appear for a decade.
The Ottoman victory in Hungary probably helped the Protestants in the Habsburg empire.

Was not expecting this but very cool: The White House is acknowledging Reformation Day.
“The Sacred Scriptures helped form the religious convictions that formed our young Nation’s founding ideals of God-given rights and individual liberty, a spiritual inheritance we honor as we continue to reflect on 250 glorious years of American Independence. The Bible remains a cornerstone of our Nation’s character and upholds our steadfast devotion to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

“Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings…”

In 2024, Missouri voters approved a “constitutional right” to abortion.
TWO years later, you can change that decision.
Amendment 3 would repeal the decision and allow new abortion restrictions, protecting unborn children.
VOTE YES!
This Sunday, during our education time, I will teach a lesson on the theology of Ulrich Zwingli, having covered his life last Sunday. So much to cover, so little time.
I hope Missourians will vote *no* on amendment *6.* More thoughts below.

The legislature represents us and has a greater ability to be deliberative and responsive to various concerns and perspectives (they are the normal lawmaking body for a reason). However an amendment originates, it must always be passed by the people.
