As she spoke, Elijah's attention was immediately on her. Upon hearing her question, hints of a devious smirk began to appear. He never lost his smile as he began to speak.
"Don't worry about that, darling. I already packed what I plan to wear to the beach festivities."

The happiness he received from hearing such a compliment from Katherine was evident in his eyes. They sparkled with joy that he attempted to hide behind a slight smirk.
"Well, as happy as it makes me to hear, I definitely plan to only let you in on that information." ➱
His gaze still had yet to leave Katherine's chocolate irises. Just having her in his sight caused his heart to melt.
"Now I do believe we have other business to attend to. We have to get packed, yes? " As he asked the question he began making his way to the bedroom closet. ➱
As if upon instinct, his arms closed around her waist, leaving her entrapped against his chest. His eyes slowly ran up and down her body, finally landing on her lips.
"I have one more matter to take care of. This one being of the utmost importance." And with no warning, ➱
Elijah's lips were pressed softly against her own. He hoped in leaving their business unfinished, the feelings would fester in Katherine's mind.
As he kissed her, his fingertips lightly caress the sensitive skin under her jawline. His other hand explored the ➱
The original didn't even waste a second. With that last teasing sentence coming from Katherine's perfectly full lips, Elijah was gone. As fast as his vamp speed would take him. As if the promise of a trip away from his family wasn't convincing enough, he had a gorgeous ➱
woman that he hated to keep waiting.
He spent a few hours out and about trying to set up as much damage control as he could to keep his family from destroying the city while he spent some time beachside.

Elijah's smile persisted even after the comment on his family. He pushed a lock of deep brown hair behind her ear.
"What do the humans say these days? Oh, yes. 'Not my problem.' My world will be right by my side, what more do I need to worry about?"

as his hand grazed the skin under her chin in a light caress. After a few silent moments of his gaze exploring hers, a mischievous smirk took over his features. And he placed a firm but gentle kiss on her jaw. That one kiss led to more kisses peppered lightly over her jaw. ➱
The attack of kisses ended with Elijah's lips just inches away from @VolatilePierce's ear. He spoke ever so softly in a deep voice,
"While I'm gone you can round up those bikinis you mentioned."
As soon as that beautiful smirk touched her lips, Elijah felt an explosion of tingles starting in his chest and radiating outward. He squeezed her hands ever so gently as her lips grazed the skin of his knuckles.

they could be doing, Elijah found himself more and more eager to enjoy this vacation with the woman of his dreams.
