well, Auburn now has the longest active winning streak in Division I men鈥檚 college basketball
Some takeaways from last night:
1) our depth will keep us in almost every game we play. The lack of depth killed us last year especially late in the season. Pretty much everyone was able to contribute last night
2) our second rotation of guards (Kimble and King) will set the tone defensively. King can shoot the lights out and love GKIII's energy
3) We have so many more weapons from deep. King Olsen and KO will probably lead the team in % but loved seeing Owen hit a 3
Overall definitely a few small things to clean up like free throws and bigs rebounding but a very impressive first game in year 2 for SP
Loving how this team is embracing each other. Seems like they all like each other. Felt like the jungle got its pop back tonight too. Scary hours.
