3 yrs ago I gave a Gen Anaesthetic for an emergency C-section. I was alone, it was 3am, and it was mid-Covid. The young woman ventilated well at first, then didn’t. Tiny volumes, quiet chest. I took as read the normal ET CO2 🫁1/

What’s with meal times? Basically they are a social construct not a nutritional one. They were set up to give workers energy through the day & to give rich people set times to schmooze. There’s lots of research around the best times to eat, but remember food isn’t just fuel 1/2.

Real examples of how male/female medical issues are handled.
1. I had an IUD put in. I was given nothing for the procedure & encouraged to take Tylenol once home. There was no follow up care. I also was asked if I had consulted my partner in the decision.
