Amazing. People quietly queuing up. Staff providing actual service. Store looks clean. No one is fighting. Good times.

Why i still use my TV from 2011
this is pretty evil and clever. so if your samsung TV model doesnt have a microphone, it will look for connected devices with one, such as a soundbar or a connected bluetooth device. this gets shipped off to bixby.

Every time you go to the post office the person in front of you has a problem that has never happened before in all of history.

Incredible selection this evening. All bangers. The Benromach was my fave.
Looking forward to the whisky tasting this evening. Got some well aged expressions from Benromach, Clynelish, Daftmill, and Glenburgie on deck.

Nope.
When threatened, dwarf reedsnakes can escape danger by rolling away in a spinning wheel motion. The adult snake, which grows up to 12 inches long, can reach speeds of one foot per second. We promise you are not prepared for how fast that is.

Why I wont connect AI agents to any of the services i use yet. This was inappropriate but relatively harmless. So much potential for something to go seriously wrong. Major reputational risks.
My personal agent has done some weird things for me... but this is by far the strangest. I asked it to reschedule my dental cleaning through a link they sent me. As it turns out, they are booked out for six months in advance. It reached out to the scheduling team to confirm there wasn't an earlier time. This is reasonable. I don't love the idea of it emailing people without confirming with me, but for something so mundane, it wouldn't bother me. How it emailed them, though, was hella creepy. It found the receptionist's personal email (I have no idea how) and emailed her to ask if there were any appointments earlier than six months out. I only found out when she replied and kindly let me know she doesn't usually communicate with patients through her personal email.

And the rest will soon follow. Glad I binned @rogers years ago. What a shit company. Why do we all put up with this? Hope people start paying by cheque. Or coin. Make it cost them.

I saw someone say they miss when the internet was a library and not a store and I’ll be damned if that’s not the realest thing I’ve seen all year.

This guy, man. Love it.
the crowd absolutely erupts when Carney says the Pacific Link pipeline will reduce Canada's dependence on the U.S. Mark Carney: "Careful. They might think that's election interference. They're a little touchy down there. We're not. We're getting on with it."
