Why is “I have no plans” treated like I’m available? Having no plans WAS the plan.

Curious thought: ​Calculators didn’t make us better at math - they just made us unable to do 17 x 8 in our heads. ​Five years from now, will AI make us smarter or will most people struggle to write a 3-line email without a prompt? ​What’s your take?

If AI keeps giving you generic textbook answers, add these 5 words to the end of your prompt: “Skip the obvious beginner advice.” By default, AI writes for the average reader. That one line forces it to skip the surface level fluff and give you the actual details.

Being easy to correct is an underrated kind of intelligence.

Jio IPO allotment tonight. Real retail odds are 7 out of 10 (~71%) to get a lot - which means I’m still mentally prepared to somehow end up in the unlucky 3. Which SMS are you waiting for: “Amount Debited” or “UPI Mandate Revoked”?

90% of actual work happens between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Everything after 2:30 PM is just people moving their mouse around and replying “Sounds good, let's connect tomorrow.”

Everyone knows “Ctrl + Shift + Esc” opens Windows Task Manager. Almost nobody knows that “Shift + Esc” inside Chrome, Brave or Edge opens a hidden Browser Task Manager. Instead of just seeing “Chrome is using 4GB RAM” you can see the exact tab or extension eating the memory.

Prompt 1: “Hey, could you please help me fix this small issue?” ​Prompt 10: “STOP APOLOGIZING AND JUST READ WHAT I WROTE.” ​Nothing tests your patience quite like an AI politely giving you the exact same broken answer 3 times in a row.

The hardest part of Monday morning isn't the actual work. It's figuring out how to explain what you did on Friday in a way that sounds like it took 9 hours.

Monday morning ritual: picking up my phone 8 times to enter OTPs for all the work apps that decided to sign me out over the weekend.
