If TikTok gets banned, it will significantly impact my job and the livelihoods of many of my friends. There has to be a better solution than disrupting millions of people's lives. My company has 45 million followers across our roster—this ban would drop that number to 30 million. On top of that, we’re on path to generate millions of dollars this year through TikTok marketing alone. Losing access to this platform would jeopardize all of that. While other social media platforms exist, much of our success on them has been driven by TikTok’s innovation, which pushed boundaries and created real competition. We need a solution that addresses the concerns without simply banning the app and leaving millions of people affected. As I get older, it feels like the government is increasingly out of touch with the needs of its people. Do they really believe China is stealing our data, or are they more concerned that we have a platform where we can communicate freely, without the lies we see in the media? Even Mark Zuckerberg admitted that the government pressured him to stay silent about the negative effects of the COVID vaccine. We all love America—that's why we live here—but we need a way to compromise and find a solution that works for everyone. We need your help @america.
