We will remember them πΉ
Ahead of our Remembrance Day fixture at Hillsborough on Sunday, club historian Jason Dickinson looks back on the Wednesday players who served during the First and Second World Wars.

Ahh see.. that's it.. there's finding it funny.. then they're being blatantly horrible about it mate.
Oh mate you waint see me defending him. I didn't want him even on the coaching staff.. brilliant player for us mind.
I have absolutely no idea.. the original poster obviously had his reasons for posting in the first place.

I see itβs @robstaton turn to be getting abused on social media now. All because he likes a different sport and got excited about it, itβs piss poor honestly.
Top journalist, always asks the questions we want answering #swfc

π€£π€£π€£π€£ I canβt imagine youβd have a great experience with him either since his brothers βnow wifeβ pied you off.

Actually! You're right, yes mate. It was Canada.
Really? Suppose you've not really had any decent players since though depends on your age.. and you've had some not so bad players over the years.
Oh here he is look. Mr massive rotherham fan still using a photo of a player who couldn't wait to fuck you off π€£

He's a wednesday fan.. and played for us.. I don't get the salt to be honest.

The problem was reported as fixed when stress tested etc. The poor water problem in the area is what's the main cause, and is being worked on.
Replying to @Sheffieldowl8 @harrietglaves1
I'll also add, I heavily dislike falling out with anyone.. but as I said before.. If I see nonsense spoken.. equally like you, you'd call it out.
I apologise if you don't like the manner of how I've done it.. but that's my way.

Me thinking you're not the brightest, is most certainly not name calling, as for the internet gremlin comment, you are.. it is exactly what you're doing now.
Your attitude stinks. You are someone who is clearly not educated in the fields required to understand the magnitude of the work required at the ground.
Have you any large scale construction experience, whether it's plumbing, electrical, ground working or structural? If not.. I'd put a pin in trying to say our new owners are dragging their feet on the things that matter.
The whole ground is going to take minimum 4 years to turn around, so either strap in, show some patience and understanding, and back the team.. or don't, and continue looking a prat on the internet.
My other advice would be, don't be so soft. If you act dumb on the internet, someone's going to call it out.
As for name calling, I haven't called you a name or been abusive. I have however outlined I do not thing you are the brightest of sparks, that isn't being abusive, nor me calling you a name.. if you wish to take offence to the fact my opinion of you isn't right in your own head, I won't apologise for that.
Replying to @Sheffieldowl8 @harrietglaves1
At what point have I said you're wrong for expecting the basics.. I'm correcting you on your expectations, and you think that something like this is immediate.. but because you're seeing other things going on that the basics are being ignored.
You do realise there isn't just 1 person doing the whole lot don't you? Signage installers don't repair water problems, electricians don't repair water problems, ground workers, also have very little to do with water problems... Oh and marketing strategists also have nothing to do with water problems.. but because there's an on-going issue, that's been an issue for decades is still outstanding, that means NOTHING else can be done at the ground in the meantime?
Grow up mate.
Replying to @Sheffieldowl8 @harrietglaves1
You're one of these people who no matter what's said and done, you always just want that little bit more.. never satisfied, and will moan at their own mother because the sky is blue.
I'll repeat, you're not very bright.
The water tankers implemented are a TEMPORARY solution, and is not something that will be sustainable or long term.. it has it's limits, as for "Hirsty's".. that also has the same problem. My last time in there the water wasn't particularly hot.. it's a stadium wide problem, and will take months to rectify entirely.. not to mention, if you actually did your education.. the water supply in that area to begin with is horrendous, again, from someone who knows.
but you keep being a little internet gremlin with an opinion, and absolutely no clue of the workings.
Replying to @Sheffieldowl8 @harrietglaves1
You're not the brightest are you?
While they're sat for weeks waiting for planning permission to be accepted to start digging on water mains, or waiting on specific materials to be supplied for work to carry on.. are they going to sit on their hands and stop altogether?
No, they're going to work on other parts of the ground in the mean time, it's an extremely basic concept, that you can't fathom.. and as someone who has been called in, or someone who works for a company who's been in to carry out surveys of the work needed.. I can talk from first hand experience.

As many of you know, Kayiwa Jamilu is a massive Sheffield Wednesday fan based over in Africa. Every time he enters the ring, he walks out to the iconic Hi Ho Silver Lining and proudly flies our flag.
Kayiwa has built a great bond online with lots of Wednesday fans, especially with The Nottingham Owl Leslie Riley.
The team at The Wednesday Voice wants to back Les and launch a push to bring Kayiwa and his son Akram over for a couple of matches at Hillsborough, meet some of our fans and take in our beautiful club.
If you can spare any change, share this post so we can try our best to get Kayiwa and Akram over to Hillsborough, it is their dream.
Thank you all so much for your support. WAWAW π΅βͺοΈπ¦
