0DTE options scalping engine built on the @public API
Order request timed out? Resend the identical body with the same orderId.
On the @Public API, orderId is the deduplication key. If the first request went through, the retry does nothing. No duplicate fills.
Set a stop-loss that follows the price up and never moves back down.
Trailing stops work on BRACKET and OTO orders in the @Public API. Trail by a dollar amount or a percentage.
Add limitOffset to turn it into a trailing stop-limit.

We published exactly how @Public calculates option Greeks. If you’re building on the Public API, here’s what’s under the hood:
Time to expiration is calendar days divided by 365.25, not a 252-day trading clock. For 0DTE, it’s floored at about 63 seconds so Greeks stay finite into the close.
Getting them: the Get option greeks endpoint takes up to 250 OSI symbols per request. Greeks also come back on option quotes under optionDetails.greeks.

I trade a few engines(equities, bonds, and futures) off four proprietary mean levels: today’s, yesterday’s, this month’s and last month’s average price.
When we opened 15-minute event contracts to the @public API, I wanted to know if the same engine could run there. Here’s what I learned: 🧵
So it runs on paper first.
Every bid, re-price, fill and settlement is logged and scored before real money touches it.
The first live test will be one market, one contract per level, and a hard daily loss limit. Boring on purpose.
Why share this: prediction markets inside a brokerage API are new, and builders will shape what they become. If you’re building on event contracts, show me what you are working on 🦾
